Terms & Conditions.

0. AGREEMENT OVERVIEW
By submitting an inquiry, accepting a proposal, making a payment, or otherwise engaging JIRI Luxury Travel, LLC (“JIRI,” “we,” “us,” “our”), you (“Client,” “you,” “your”) agree to these Terms of Service, our Cancellation & Refund Policy, and our Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Agreement”). If you do not agree, please do not engage our services.
1. DEFINITIONS
1.1 “Services” means travel planning, itinerary design, advisory support, and booking coordination provided by JIRI.
1.2 “Suppliers” means independent third parties providing travel components (airlines, hotels, lodges, tour operators, ground transport, etc.).
1.3 “Booking” means any reservation, ticket, or confirmed service with a Supplier arranged through JIRI.
2. OUR ROLE
2.1 JIRI acts as an independent travel advisor and coordinator.
2.2 JIRI does not own, operate, or control Suppliers and is not responsible for their acts, omissions, or performance.
2.3 JIRI does not provide medical or legal advice and does not guarantee outcomes (including weather, wildlife sightings, schedules, or availability).
3. SCOPE OF SERVICES
3.1 Services may include itinerary design, recommendations, coordination with Suppliers, Booking management, and pre-departure support, as described in your proposal.
3.2 Unless explicitly stated in writing, Services do not include 24/7 emergency coverage. Urgent issues while traveling should be addressed directly with the relevant Supplier and local emergency services.
4. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
4.1 You are responsible for valid passports, visas, entry/transit requirements, and compliance with laws and regulations.
4.2 You are responsible for health decisions, vaccinations, medications, and determining fitness for travel activities.
4.3 You must provide accurate traveler information and promptly review confirmations and documents for accuracy.
5. COMPENSATION & PAYMENTS
5.1 JIRI’s compensation may include planning fees, service charges, Supplier commissions, or a combination thereof, depending on scope and itinerary.
5.2 Payment schedules and amounts due are outlined in your proposal and/or invoice.
5.3 By providing payment information, you authorize JIRI to process approved payments in accordance with agreed terms.
5.4 All payments are subject to the Cancellation & Refund Policy.
6. SUPPLIER TERMS
6.1 All travel components are governed by Supplier terms and conditions. By proceeding, you agree to be bound by those Supplier terms.
6.2 Suppliers may change schedules, accommodations, routing, aircraft/vehicles, or services. JIRI will share material updates when reasonably possible but is not liable for Supplier changes.
7. TRAVEL INSURANCE
7.1 Travel insurance is strongly recommended and may be required for certain itineraries.
7.2 If you decline insurance, you assume financial responsibility for losses that may occur (including cancellations, medical incidents, delays, and Supplier default).
8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
8.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, JIRI is not liable for losses, injuries, delays, cancellations, or damages arising from Suppliers or events beyond JIRI’s reasonable control.
8.2 JIRI’s total liability, if any, is limited to the lesser of (a) amounts paid directly to JIRI for Services or (b) amounts retained by JIRI in connection with the Booking.
8.3 JIRI is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
9. FORCE MAJEURE
JIRI is not responsible for failure or delay caused by events beyond reasonable control (including weather events, natural disasters, public health emergencies, government actions, political unrest, transportation disruptions, or Supplier insolvency). Remedies (refunds/credits) are subject to Supplier terms.
10. BAGGAGE & PERSONAL PROPERTY
Baggage rules are set by operating carriers and Suppliers. You are responsible for compliance. JIRI is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal property.
11. DISPUTES
Clients agree to contact JIRI in good faith to resolve concerns before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback. JIRI may provide documentation to payment processors in the event of a dispute.
12. GOVERNING LAW
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict of law principles.
13. UPDATES
JIRI may update these Terms from time to time by posting revisions with an updated “Last Updated” date. For existing Bookings, the version in effect at the time of initial payment applies unless changes are required by law.
